Pathwork Reimbursement Assistance Program (RAP)
The FDA-cleared Pathwork Tissue of Origin Test is covered by Medicare, but is not yet covered by all private insurance plans. Pathwork is working with insurance companies across the country to secure coverage for the test. In the meantime, Pathwork Reimbursement Assistance Program (RAP) counselors can provide assistance to ensure that people who cannot afford to pay for the test will not be denied access if the test is recommended by their doctors.
The program provides counselors who work directly with patients, their families and their insurance plans. The Pathwork counselor can help determine what assistance may be needed. The counselor can also help with prior authorizations, claims, appeals, financial assistance, and payment plans.
