Sales Representative
Controller

Sales Representative

We are looking for outstanding technical sales representative(s) based in the Central and Eastern US with experience building strong customer relationships and closing business in the molecular pathology/oncology diagnostics services markets. The role includes the following:

  1. Generate revenue according to plan by effectively managing sales territory including select major client accounts.
  2. Prepare a variety of status reports, including forecasts, customer follow-up reports, and status to goals.
  3. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  4. Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows.
Qualifications
  1. 5-8 years successful technical sales experience in clinical diagnostic products and/or services.
  2. Oncology and/or Pathology product and/or services sales experience highly preferred.
  3. Familiarity with diagnostic tests and diagnostic service reimbursement processes highly beneficial.
  4. Reference network of US oncology physicians and/or Anatomic pathology laboratories highly beneficial.
  5. Education: Technical undergraduate degree in life sciences or engineering required. Graduate degree (MD, PhD, MBA) beneficial.
  6. Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  7. Experience using Salesforce.com highly beneficial.
  8. May require up to 50-80% travel.

Controller

Seeking hands-on Controller to manage all financial operations of the company. Will also support the executive team in preparation of materials and analysis for Board of Director and Finance Committee meetings as well as support analysis of business deals and relationships to support business growth.

  • Develop and implement financial management and control system, including standard cost and inventory processes
  • Prepare and analyze periodic P & L, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet reports and analyses
  • Review payroll and monitor 401K plan performance and investment account performance
  • Manage financial and operating plan, budget and forecast process
  • Prepare/support preparation of compliance reporting, tax filing
  • Manage various contractors/consultants
Qualifications
  • 5-8 years controller experience, or 7-10 years combined accounting and finance experience; bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or CPA preferred
  • High degree of integrity and financial acumen
  • Start-up/early commercialization stage experience strongly preferred
  • Self-starter with high level of initiative; ability to work in a fast paced, performance oriented environment
  • Team player with collaborative working style, hands-on and detail oriented
  • Proactive in developing and monitoring budgets, cash flow forecasts
  • Recent experience in the life science industry a plus
  • Skilled at written, verbal and presentation communications
  • Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Quick Books)
