Ljubomir J. Buturovic, PhD

Vice President and Chief Scientist
Ljubomir Buturovic is responsible for the development of informatics for Pathwork's genomics-based clinical diagnostics tests for cancer. He has 15 years of experience in biotechnology and software industries, and published peer-reviewed papers in clinical diagnostics, machine learning and bioinformatics. He has been an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at San Francisco State University since 2005.

Prior to Pathwork, Dr. Buturovic directed bioinformatics software development at Incyte Corporation, and held a postdoctoral position at BioMolecular Engineering Research Center at Boston University. He received PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Belgrade, Serbia.
